That was some really hard track! one more day. really is this time. A few hours really to sort out vocal levels, some de-essing, smoothing the bass line EQ a bit as it's a bit bumpy at times. I feel like I can do anything now I've done this! xxx completely shattered (been in studio for 12 hours non stop from midnight!). I love it when it flows like this.         17. They all have something - it's really hard to judge without hearing the context. Could you post something on Soundcloud with 20 seconds before and after ? (Disadvantage: we don't get to see your facial expressions, which are one of the best things about these clips :-) Here's a crazy thought - how about a brief time-warp morph back into the piano version ?!? I like the arp but my favourite is version 4. Bottom line ? It doesn't matter ! Time to let go... :-) ianshepherd
        18. You look like you're about to cry :( If you really can't choose between them, it suggests they are all pretty close to what you want. I'd say use the oldest version on the album and maybe do a single or EP with the other versions. That way your listeners can decide for themselves which they prefer. (umm, if that's the lyric?), I'd be expecting the song to be slightly less upbeat during that bit than in the bouncy versions (not having a beat behind it)... to build until you sing 'what have we got to lose?' I expect you're utterly over messing with this song, but maybe arranging it to keep the beautiful, naked instrumental & vocal core without any adornment and bringing in your heavy ammuniition to change the mood at key sections might sort it out - you're probably already doing this, can't tell in 12 seconds - any which way, it's swooninducing ! emilicon
