          1. I can't wait to see this; hope I can get to it in 3D before it's gone. pasha
          2. You're gonna love it. The 3D was really cool. Felt very natural for the film. Btw: These pictures are of the art and models they had on display at Arclight. mikedotta
          3. soooo good! beach
          4. Pasha - A buddy of mine just emailed me, "By the way, saw your 12 sec thing. you should let people know it's only playing in 3d for three weeks, i think next week is the last week." Ahhh!!! Hurry!!! mikedotta
          5. I really, really thought you were gonna pan out and there was gonna be, like, a dollhouse in your room. kendraschaefer
          1. Wouldn't mind if there was a dollhouse in my room if it meant Eliza Dushku was within close proximity. ;) mikedotta

          5. OK. I just wasted hours trying to put this together. Now off to the gym I go. :) mikedotta
          6. Hours? I guess there are times when Windoze Movie Maker is better than iMovie. joyofzen
          7. music soothes the soul and sometimes numbs the pains of a lost loves strain of the pulling away and that incessant tugging of the heartstrings ONCE the hearts been engaged... or somethin like that... (shrugs) lovesentproject
          8. Yeah, iMovie '08 is the stink. Thought the whole process would take 10-15 minutes tops. First I edited the music track in Audacity. Super easy; maybe 2 minutes spent. (Deastro, btw.) Next I searched for the album covers online. 6 covers took maybe another 2-3 minutes. Then I dropped everything in iMovie and production soon became very frustrating. I changed the duration of the 6 pics to 2 seconds apiece. (totals 12 seconds. ;) Next I finessed the panning to land on the album titles. (Took me about 2 minutes for that.) Then I added cross dissolves in between each cover. And this is where things got hairy. With each dissolve I added it would DECREASE the length of my video, thereby cutting the audio short. It went all the way down to 6 seconds. (?!) Made absolutely no sense. You'd think if it were to change anything, it'd balance out the length of the transitions and the panning of covers. Took me ages to finally figure out I had to select every pic and collectively change their durations until I got close enough to the 12 second mark. One second or fraction over and the video was too long. One second or fraction under. Too short. Ugh. But now it works and I have me a template. YEY! I hope. :P mikedotta
          9. What a pain in the ass! At least it's over with and it came out good. joyofzen
          10. Yeah, if only 12seconds didn't compress the video so much on upload. Or is there a trick to preserve quality? mikedotta
          11. I don't think so, someone else was wondering that too. I think this is as good as it gets. You could double check w/ Jacob though :) joyofzen
          12. I wish there was a way I could just loop this and stare at it. kendraschaefer
          13. It's catchy isn't it. Well guess what?… Now you can. :) (Cntrl-click and save. Loop in QuickTime.) mikedotta

          3. Kendra - Thanks. Yeh, I sketched it in high school once and have used it ever since. My cousin likes it so much he got a tattoo on his arm. I wouldn't go THAT far, but I still think it's pretty dope. Hey, Jive was telling me you might be going to Twiistup 5 in Santa Monica this Thursday. Is that true? If so, you should totally (like totally! lol) come hang out with our crew. All the guys/gals from Team Ringorang will be there. :) mikedotta
          4. Well, it's cool. Makes me wish I could draw. *laugh* Well, that would be hard, being that I'm located in South Carolina. I have no idea how that rumor got started. I grew up in L.A., but don't live there anymore. As soon as you guys do something on the East Coast, count me in. kendraschaefer
          5. Haha. See. That's what I said. "She lives on the other side of the country, man. Are you sure??" Ah, rumors… So silly. We should start one of our own: The reason why you never talk in your videos is because you're mute. Ok. Pass it on. (Non-verbally, of course.) :P mikedotta
          6. I would like to go to TwiistUp, but we shall see. :P StarWarsDork
          7. @mikedotta: Mute? That's the best we can come up with, really? How about, like, She got her tongue cut out in a knife fight with a Blackwater guard. Or, She feels that the artistic value extrapolated from a video vis a vis the opportunity cost of free market purchases is condusive to Sharpie scribbles. *cough* kendraschaefer
          1. (hands Kendra a lozenge) Me likes. Or maybe… She tried kissing a snapping turtle to turn him into a prince. Someone put a razor blade in her halloween candy. To make rent, she auctioned her vocal chords on the black market. She's a bluesman reincarnate and saves her voice for intimate recordings only. (harmonica solo) mikedotta

          13. Okay, was playing on parallelism with a 1 week wonder women's liberation song in 1972 called "I am Woman, Hear Me Roar" by Helen Reddy. Depending on who you ask, the song somehow managed to become both kind of an activist anthem and a cheesy cliche (check the lyrics) at the same time. I do like puzzles and math tricks http://listverse.com/science/10-easy-arithmetic-tricks/ Thanks! ;-) silverton
          14. @silverton so i heard you like math tricks ehy? :P i wanna hear that one week wonder song :D i like cheesy 1indienation
          1. Silverton - Wow… Cheesy is right. When it comes to protests songs, think I'd rather stick with "If I had a Hammer." lol mikedotta

          4. Haha. Small world. It was Tigger's idea to eat Flat Stanley. Pics turned out great though. mikedotta
          5. Hi! I'm the friend that Ms. S.W. Legs is referring to, the tour guide. I believe that is my bus! i give the one hour tour of Hollywood. If you stop by again, say hi and come on the tour - on the house! I'm always there fri, sat and sun, and sometimes other days, too. Catherine
          1. Hi Catherine! Unreal. I was there with a friend of mine taking Flat Stanley photos a few weeks ago. Will have to stop by again and say hi in person. What are the chances?! lol mikedotta
