3 months! the world doesn't stand still in that time. if the country were run like a business then there would be no way you'd let everyone take the same time off. why is there a recess anyway? can't they just get holiday entitlement like the rest of us and use it up across the year? tinnion

I can't walk into a bank without someone trying to sell me something designed to get me into debt. I would say yes. too many fat cats at the top feeding off the poor. Documentally
the great thing about the british press is that they'll be watching the greedy bankers very closely over the next few years. any sniff of a fat bonus will come back on those in power very quickly. if the government is wise then it will make sure it does enough. quantitative easing can only go so far. employment laws have to change to allow 'state overrides' in exceptional cases. that's my tinnion 2p :) tinnion
Banks everywhere are the same and politicians are in their pockets so the answer would have to be no grahunt

How would breaches be proven? By the media?
I'm not too sure that making MP's 'sackable' necessarily makes them much more accountable.
I'd personally rather see an MP's 'charter' or code of conduct, written in plain English containing public conduct promises for public service.
