          1. MikeFX, I was feeling better, but I was caught up in the holiday rush at that point. I *had* to be better! I had deadlines to meet! Of course, a couple of days after that last deadline passed, I got sick again. :( Then, as soon as I got home on NYE, I got sick again. I'm STILL catching up (which is why I'm replying to these comments over a month after they were left). Nic, I think there was some white on the ground here in NYC for Christmas, but I was in NoCal for the day where it rained. Instead of a white Christmas, I had a wet one. HA. TravestyAlpha, no, sadly, those are just Sonys. They're pretty good though. They're pretty aged, sadly--I need new ones. I think I'd be better off with a Soviet tank driver's helmet :D The snow was enjoyed! Though the cold was not. :( ThePete

          3. @keysdogg, you've got it partway right :) @adambombtv nah, Starbucks is way more important to the economy than the White House! ;) But no, I'm always paranoid management will tell me I can't shoot someplace--especially a big chain like Starbucks. They can have my family killed and there's nothing I can do. They're Starbucks!! ;) ThePete

          1. Yeah, my MacBook is still on the borked side sadly. It's never been good at recording reasonable quality video. I had hoped to use Automator to a sort of "auto-12-maker" but emailing through Apple's Mail app is really annoying. It insists on downloading all my read/unread gmail (even spam, apparently). I'll experiment with just automator recording 12-second clips at lower quality and then see if I can just upload them manually. We'll see... but thanks for the comment! ThePete
