REALLY hate the way I look in this video, but since I haven't had time to make a new one of myself, thought I'd share an old one. This was election day '08, heading to the polls. BlondeBlogger

I juuuust wanna know what the Republicans would say if the party dynamic had been reversed.
I'm all for free speech even when it's disrespectful, but you gotta know there are consequences to being disrespectful. ThePete
God, your politics are amazing, they actually seem interesting and the election is a 4 yearly circus that heats up the entire country.
Our government is inept, greedy and very dull... I'm very jealous of your circus adambombtv
Oh, I'd say your government is interesting, you just need to look past the boring stuff. Come on, who's that one MP who wore a tutu on TV and loves to call Bush a criminal? I'm blanking on his name. Then there's questions to the prime minister which is what the above moment in last night's speech reminded me of. Everyone gets rowdy and rude to the PM's face. That's awesome. That heckle last night was virtually unheard of in US politics. I wrote a post about it here: http://thepete.com/obamacare-and-what-joe-the-heckler-wilson-represents
Sure, the heckling is common place at rallies *now* thanks to the extremists on the right, but generally speaking US politics in Congress and in general is boring on the outside, crazy outlandish behind-the-scenes--even from my limited knowledge of UK politics, I'm confident the same goes for your guys, too. You may just have to dig a bit to find it. I have a buddy in Sheffield who could tell you stories--he has told me! ThePete
