This is a quick guide to interacting with 12seconds on your mobile device. Here are some cool tips to making the most of your 12seconds experience.

Sending your Video by Email
Emailing your video. The easiest way to get a mobile video to 12seconds is to email it. There are a lot of fancy applications that do a lot of amazing things but we designed 12seconds to do things the easy way. Take a mobile video on your phone and email it to your special mobile number that's unique just to you. When we receive the video we process it and then post it to the website under your username. It's really just that easy.
On the right hand side of your "home" page you'll see something that looks like this (without the smudges):
Just put this number into your address book and the next time you take a video with your phone email or MMS it to that address. We'll do the rest.
* note that we do not support Sprint at this time (they attach their video files all funny and it just doesn't work)
Help! My phone doesn't have a "+" sign key so I can't send mobile posts!
We're aware that some phones have problems sending e-mails that contain a "+" symbol so we've been working on a workaround for it.
Now, instead of using a "+", simply replace it with a "x".

For all users who may be reading this, please be aware that is an unsupported function that should only be used if you don't have any other way. It runs slightly slower and may take a little longer to post than the normal system.
the 12seconds iPhone application
We have an awesome iPhone application that you can purchase on the app store for the low, low price of 99cents. Our application is very innovative! The iPhone doesn't normally allow video but we at 12seconds found a cool way around it. Using our application, you take 3 images, record some audio and submit it to our site. We take your images and your audio and make a cool movie out of it. Not only can you post that video, you can also email it directly to friends are family.

Flixwagon
Flixwagon is the amazing service that let’s you stream live video to the web from your mobile phone. It’s completely amazing technology and we’re excited to be working with Flixwagon. You can link your 12seconds account to your Flixwagon account and then the first twelve seconds of every Flixwagon session will go automatically to 12seconds! Flixwagon works with “jailbroken” iPhones and a whole bunch of Nokia Phones (Series 60 Symbian like the N95).

Qik is another incredible live streaming service. We're very proud that Qik has integrated 12seconds. We've made it so that you can link your accounts together and then every time you qik, it will send the first 12seconds to our site.
